This part of the falls appeared like is was flowing over a bear paw to me. The rounded rocks were an interesting contrast to the rugged angular boulder on the right hand side. The opportunity for this photo only lasted a few seconds – I saw it and lifted my camera and quickly made the shot (the decisive moment!). I always carry my camera in a known exposure mode so that I can adjust the depth of field and shutter speed as I lift the camera without having to look at the camera.
