A nip in the air.

We experienced fabulous warm sunny weather, with absolutely no rain, until early October which is unusual for Vancouver Island. The weather has suddenly chilled and fall is clearly here! It has been overcast or pouring rain everyday since I made this photograph. I am glad I pulled off the highway during an errand to take the photo or my opportunity would be gone. “Seize the Moment” is a good maxim!

This photo was taken at a “farmer’s market” and it was a challenge getting a photo without people in it. There were families taking photos of their children sitting on the pumpkins and so I had to be patient. This scene reminded me of us taking our favourite daughter Ashley to pick out pumpkins when she was little. It was always fun carving the pumpkin.
