The Future Project

This derelict truck was located on an abandoned farm on Vancouver Island. I called it “The Future Project” as many people have collected things and projects that they are going to get around to but the project never happens. They then become monuments to dreams that are never fulfilled.

I had a difficult time making this photograph as I was backed right up against the trunk of a tree and had a hard time composing the image due to the heavy brush making maneuvering my tripod extremely difficult. It was so dark under the tree on a heavily overcast day that the exposure was 8 seconds.

This image was taken in December so there is lush green to make up for the snow that we miss out on here during our moderate winters.
